From the price ranking limits it says expensive products are usually chosen by admins or for high ranking reviewers.

In the event that it wasn't a milestone assignment (you get to pick one item up to $150 for hitting 100 and 200 reviews) it's also possible that the assignment was made before a price was assigned. That's usually how I've seen them happen.

I never even hear of the DR program, how do we get assignments from there?

May I ask how you all got started reviewing? Had you done other type of reviews prior to this? Do you review exclusively for Eden or other books/products? And who are your fave reviewers to learn from?

Are there any negative effects from turning down an assignment?

I linked the DR guidelines a few pages back. Basically you have to apply to join the program and then generally items are assigned by Admin.

My gf found Eden, looking for free toys. She brought me on board almost a year later. I've only reviewed for EF.

Me personally I got started because the review program sounded neat and was something I hadn't done before. I've reviewed things I already owned on my blog, but it doesn't see much action. For the most part I just review here.

I started reviewing after I discovered EF and started to read the reviews. I have rarely done a review for an item directly from the manufacturer, but for the most part I write exclusively for EF. And there are a ton of great reviewers, too many to list.

Eden approached me through my website. I went to the site and loved Eden instantly. I post alot of reviews on my blog as well as on eden.

I had never done any kind of reviewing before Eden. The only place that I do reviews for is Eden and that probably won't change any time soon. There are a lot of really good reviewers to read and be inspired by. Check out the Weekly Review Rumbles for examples of reviews that people on the Eden Community think are exceptionally good.

I wanted a site with good feedback. I did a lot of reviewing on Amazon and other places from everything from books to amusement parks. Plus a few sex toy reviews. I was getting virtually nothing in terms of feedback on ba**land, and Adam and *** and actually signed up and started reviewing before I knew about free toys. I'm probably the only person on the planet who didn't know.

I occasionally do book reviews for Amazon, but I now only do toy reviews for Eden.

I have a LOT of favorite reviewers.
