Maybe it would be good to go over "how to choose a good mentor for you"---I'd like to have a link to send people to when I tell them to check out the mentor program. It seems like a lot of new students only check out the first page, so Lauren gets lots of requests every day, while lots of the newer mentors are overlooked.

When I was looking for a mentor I just clicked to the middle of the line and picked someone with a nice intro-sentence (and she was great!), but if I had known to read some reviews from several mentors before submitting a request, that would have been good too.

Is one mentor sufficient? Or is it wise to use another mentor even after you are graduated just for the experience and wisdom/input from another mentor?

I think one should be fine, but that's me.

The mentor program isn't really that old, so we're still seeing how it goes.

thats a personal choice, if you want to or another mentor provides expertise in a different area then you can do more than one class, not at the same time though

That's up to you really. I know that I offer my students a chance to stay with me as long as it takes for them to feel comfortable on their own. I've also had students go through my class and then go on to other mentors to learn more from somebody with a different writing style. In the end it's completely your choice

I had one mentor to graduate from basic to advanced, and then I took another mentor when I decided I wanted to stop using the extended format and use the standard format instead. I wanted some safety net and some extra input when I was trying the new thing.

But it's always your own choice!

It is a citoral vibe, and it uses watch batteries. I did find it is GREAT for fore-play but that is all, it just was a let down for solo. I just got frustrated.

Question for the video reviewers present: How do you feel about the guidelines for video reviews? Are the adequate? Too much? Not enough? Confusing?

Okay, but power levels can vary vastly in a company's products as well. Compare the Duo Obsessions vibes to the Bendable vibes by Evolved - A HUGE difference. And I think tht'd be true even if the Duo Obsessions just had one motor instead of two.

I think some people need to post more. I seen a video earlier where it was really really dark, and just the toy being used off screen. So all you saw was black and moaning. And I didn't find it useful at all, and it seemed like there should be a requirement for more than just that.

I just wish people would quit complaining about the adult videos, they are clearly labeled and noone makes them watch.

I think that write-up is great. It's very clear, especially when supplemented with watching a few video reviews.

Yeah, i watched that too...

...it was kind of a tricky video actually. Nudity is fine in a video, but this was someone who just decided to upload a video of them using the product. It's really more of an audio review than video.

You mean the write-up under dashboard/review program/video review program?

I was able to understand them. I was a little worried that some of the info wasn't current, when I was first reading it, just because those writeups seem far-removed from the rest of the site. Maybe you could put at "current as of Aug 2011" or something on the top for reassurances' sake?

was it a review or an adult video? the adult videos dont need to be a review

I'm more than fine with nudity, it's just say something about it, anything at all. It sounds like fun if you're moaning but I need more to it as a video review.
