Wouldn't it seem to make more sense to require new reviewers to either 1)use a mentor, or 2) use the Extended Review Format until they obtain a certain rank or complete 2 or 3 reviews?
Just saying, it seems like the review quality has really dipped lately. less

One of the biggest things we like to talk about with the program is the openness of it.
Usually, new reviewers pick up the pace and find their little niche or they move on. It's really not something admins stress about.
