Sometimes buying a premade cake from a store doesn’t taste or look exactly how you’d like it. Baking and decorating your own cakes can be a sweet reward. It can also make a great family activity.

Join me on July 21st from 7 to 9 pm EST for a workshop demonstrating cake and cupcake baking and decorating. I will include a few recipes for cupcakes, icing, frosting, and fondant. I will demonstrate how to decorate cupcakes with assorted candies. I will also demonstrate how to decorate cakes with fondant and decorating tips.

I'm not sure if I can actually still do this workshop right now. I'm hoping to reschedule it for August.

Last night, my apartment building caught on fire. Everyone got out okay, but my apartment is burned to the point that I cannot live in it. Right at this moment, I have to worry about where I will be sleeping, what I will do for a vehicle (mine was ruined in the fire), and how I am going to get my place cleaned back up.

It's going to be a couple of weeks at least until they finish building repairs and have a cleaning company come in and get the ash and soot out of everyone's apartments.

This really sucks I was really looking forward to doing my workshop. less
