Ok, I've seen it mentioned a few times now, what's a "buyout assignment?"

We're really loose on these...as long as you stick to the guidelines

LOL I like the cat interaction as well, especially when they give the toy a WTF! look

I think it's fine if the picture is worth more than words. Like the purpose of the video is to show flexibility, softness of a furniture, or real life size, or vibration strength on a table surface etc.

Part of it is I think people who don't do videos don't understand the amount of work that goes into making them. Plus, let's face it, we're not professionals. I put a lot of time and effort into my videos, way more than writing a review.

I went through this vid stage where I just had to jazz them up all awesome... I like some of what I did but I got disappointed a lot when no one seemed to care (or i thought they didnt anyway) after all the hard work I put into them.
You will learn as you go, and experiment to find your own style. Try not to repeat others' styles, because it just won't work. I learned that one the hard way too. If you have ever seen my cat oh nine tails vid... lol less

When you're an advanced reviewer, you can request to do a review on a product for a 30% discount. A lot of people do this so they can get a heavily reviewed toy at a discount. They count as regular monthly assignments though.

As far as I know you can do multiple buyouts at one time. I'm not sure there's a limit, but other than not being able to request more before finishing them all, I don't think there's a limit on how many you can request at a time. JR might know better tho.

It's also good to have subtitles when you are saying a product name. Not everyone can undertand that well if the microphone is noisy or if you have an accent. Regular words ok, but when you say a product name, and you say it fast, only a few will understand

This has been very informative, but I need to play taxi now (train arrives in 10 minutes). Thanks everyone for your help, and JR especially for setting up the workshop.

Going Back...
We're still doing the free totes thing. If you refer someone and they sign up, you get a tote too. You just have to fill out the form and include the screen/user name of the person you referred.
