Hey y'all, and welcome to our fifth Reviewers Spotlight!!! This month we're featuring Alan & Michele and LadyA!

Alan & Michele have been reviewing together as a couple for just over two years now. In that time they've given us over 100 great reviews from a unique two person point of view.
"We discovered EdenFantasys after we had purchased an expensive toy offline that didn't work out for us. We were miffed about getting burned on that one, so decided we'd best try to find some toy reviews online to avoid making the same mistake again. After a weekend spent reading reviews on here, we decided to leave one for our "bad toy" so that other people would know that it might not be all it was cracked up to be. We weren't part of the review program, and didn't really realize the whole scope of it or the community then.
Looking back on it, our writing sort of sucked and we would have been ideal candidates for the Mentor program if it had existed. Still, we'd discovered something new that was fun to do together so we just kept going, using the forums to sniff out every bit of advice that the good reviewers revealed. That got us interested in reading all of the other things that went on in the forums, and it's been amazing to watch the numerous new programs and clubs develop since then.
The most challenging reviews for us to write are the ones on products that we feel neutral about. Toys we love and toys we hate are easy, but the "Meh" toys are always a headache. It can also be difficult to pull a review together when we have completely opposite opinions.
The best advice that we ever received from another reviewer was not to read any other reviews on the same product before you write your own. She said that doing so can make you slide into second guessing your own work, which makes writing harder. She was right, and it's something we never do now.
In terms of giving advice to new reviewers, we would say to concentrate on quality, not quantity. Whipping out 10 reviews that are riddled with mistakes and sketchy product info won't help you in the long run, and does nothing for your readers. If you aren't interested in the Mentor Program, at least run your work through a spell checker and then read it aloud the next day, or have someone else read it to you. You'd be surprised how many problems you can find when you walk away from it for a while and then hear the review spoken.
Last but not least, don't be afraid to join any of the clubs on Eden that interest you right from the start. To the best of our knowledge, they all welcome fresh faces and opinions so there is no reason to wait until you have loads of reviews under your belt to start enjoying them."
LadyA has also been with us just about 2 years, publishing her first review in late September of 2009. Her reviews with us have gotten better and better, and she's been one of our video reviewers for a long time now, doing both regular and adult videos.
"The best advice a reviewer every gave you- I did not receive any certain advice. I do remember taking in the critiquing comments on my reviews on things like how to be more descriptive. I do remember someone telling me once that I should not worry about what others say and just focus on what I like doing.
Most challenging review I have written- It would probably have to be the UR3 Cock and Ass. It was hard for me to finish this review because I knew so many people wanted to know more about it, but when it came down to reviewing it, well it was just simple. It did not take much to cover the item, but I feared that the readers would want a lot more information, but that fact of the matter was that it was just basically a dildo on a base with a non-textured bum. I did end up doing a video review just to give a better look at it for the readers and I think that eased a lot of questions about the product.
How did I hear about EF- I have been buying products from Eden Fantasys as far back as I can remember. I bought my first sex toy with them and they are still my go-to adult novelty store to date. I was placing an order back in 2008 when I noticed the review community. I already had a fetish for the toys and really enjoyed writing, so it seemed like a great opportunity and I have been reviewing ever since. I had fun writing the reviews and trying products that I probably would not have otherwise purchased. Eden Fantasys' review program allowed me to blossom sexually and for that I will always be grateful.
Advice for those starting out- Just have fun with it! Eden Fantasys does expect a certain conduct, but beyond that, it is all about enjoying reviewing and giving honest reviews. I have always felt a review should be about the experience of the product, not just the product description. Also, you are going to get criticized. There is always going to be that one person that wants to rip your review apart. All you have to do is ignore it. Take it with a grain of salt and learn to take a little structured criticism."
