Hey y'all, and welcome to our sixth Reviewers Spotlight!!! This month we're featuring Tuesday and ~LaUr3n~!

Having been with us since all the way back in September of 2008, Tuesday has become quite a force here and a reviewer we can always count on to give completely unbiased reviews. She's been a fantastic video reviewer and an expert on vaginal exercisers.
"The most difficult reviews were the early ones, especially my first one, because I didn't have many other toys to use for comparison. I had trouble coming up with much to say about them. Writing reviews certainly becomes easier with time. In general, vibrators are the easiest to review.
How did you hear about EdenFantasys and the review program, what got you to stay:
After my surgically-induced menopause, my doctor advised me to do something to increase blood flow to the area at least as often as I wanted to have sex in the future, otherwise girly bits thin, shrink and become fragile. I wasn't sure how I was going to accomplish this. I don't have the same sex life with my husband that I did 25 years ago. Then I saw Stephen Colbert waving a dildo on his show and a light bulb went off. I hadn't considered toys as an option until I saw him do that. But I still didn't know where to buy them. It actually took me quite a while to find my way to EF and purchase my first dildo, Mr Softee.
I noticed the small invitation to review toys and wrote a few reviews. I was rejected on my first request to become an Advanced Reviewer. It took me a while to lick my wounds and decide to try again. I could have used the mentor program. Too bad it didn't exist back then.
For people just starting out reviewing, I suggest that you start by describing the product in as much detail as possible. That is the easiest part of a review. Then add a discussion of how the product worked for you. It can help to read other reviews of the same or similar products to make sure you're not leaving out a detail that could be helpful."

Registering with us all the way back in April of 2007 and writing her first review in November of that same year, Lauren is one of the earliest contributors who's still active. In that time she's dipped her feet in just about all of our programs; becoming a mentor, an editor, a video reviewer, and even part of the Descriptive Review program.
"How I found EF - I got my first toy in summer 2007, then I returned to school. Being that there are no sex toy stores there, I took to the web. After a less than amazing experience at another online retailer, I googled. Eden had free shipping for EVERY order back then (Yea…I’ve been here THAT long lol). That made them stand apart from the rest. I’ve been here ever since, writing my first review in November 2007 after being asked if I’d like to review and have never shopped at another online sex toy retailer.
What kept me at Eden - That I can say I review sex toys. How cool is that? I didn’t know anyone else who did that, and I love to be unique. Now? It’s the simple things like the thank yous I get. The fact that certain people count on me for reviews and advice, and I love to deliver. It’s all my hard work. I’ve had opportunities to go to other sites, but don’t think I ever will.
Advice for people just starting out - Don’t go with the grain to please others. Don’t try to make your review just like the existing extremely useful one. Strive to do better, but in your own way. This is something I try to continue to do. I’m always evolving to stay fresh and have introduced things in my reviews that I felt others weren’t doing quite the same at the time or had never before. I never read others reviews before I write my own. You’ll drive yourself mad wondering why you wanted to give a toy 5 stars when others gave it 3. Be you and only you.
Favorite toy - You wouldn’t believe how often people ask me this question. It’s got to be at least once a day. It’s so hard for me to pick just one out of so many categories, but I will answer a different question that no one has ever asked me. Most used toy? The Pinks Bombay. I still use it a lot.
Hardest review - There is not one that sticks out, but the hardest are usually ones that I know are really important because a lot of people want the product, it’s the first review, or the descriptive review. All three together equal hard reviews. The iRide is one example."
