Hi BBW,
I misses you and Flicks a whole bunch!
My question is what do you like to see in reviews? Do you like pics, comparisons, or even just a witty review? What makes you think, " This is definitely an EU review" ?
What is your favorite movie?
and Also,
If you could pick any trip to go on what would it be and why?
Sorry for so many questions.

Regarding Reviews:
I like people to have and use their own voice. The harder you try at one type of review or the other, the harder it is to read.
What engages me most is: correct spelling and correct grammar. (I'm a geek, what can I say?)
Like I said before, a useful review should leave no question unanswered, no stone uncovered. An
extremely useful review kept me engaged throughout. It either made me laugh or someone went the extra mile (the extra mile varies based on review, type of toy, etc). Or, if the written is just "eh," but the video is AWESOME, I'll bump it up.
I love comparisons because I like seeing how an item will vary from something else. Especially if one of them is something I own, then I have a good point of reference. Of course, that will hardly ever be the case, but it still helps. I also enjoy it when reviewers compare to everyday items. I don't know how big your hands are, but I know how big a hairspray bottle is, or a pencil (please, only compare height in pencils, otherwise it looks ridiculous... especially width or girth. I mean, really?), or an 8x10 picture frame. Non-standard measurement rocks!
I like pictures, so long as it's not blurry to the point where I can't make out the toy. A little fuzzy is one thing, indistinguishable is another. Number of pictures depends on what the point is. I did a review of the
Hitachi Axis and I used a LOT of pictures, but I was demonstrating ways in which you could use the pillow. And yes, I took all those pictures myself. Don't ask me how.
As far as witty reviews? I love them, as long as you're a good communicator. Sometimes sarcasm doesn't translate well to writing. If you can't translate your humor to text, it can be hard to read. This is what I mean about staying true to your writing voice.
Other questions
Favorite movie is Pulp Fiction. Hands down. Makes me laugh. Makes me uncomfortable. Makes me think. Isn't boring at any point. Tarantino and Samuel L. Jackson are just amazing.
ANY trip? There are so many... But if I could only go one place, ever, and it be the "trip of a lifetime," it would be... a cruise around the world with ports of call in Cuba, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Fiji, Japan, Greece, Morocco, Australia, and pretty much every awesome place in the world.
I, too, miss Flicks. However, considering I've taken on huge responsibilities in my derby league, it's really worked out for the best that we don't have the club anymore. Our season is over in June, and I'm thinking that I might just have to host a movie night or two during the summer.
