I totally got that watching it. I think I even commented about that in my review of the film. It feels like a television drama.....looking forward to the boxed set!!

Yeah, because Julia Ann heard the two interns taking about Samantha's devious plan. She was in the stall while they were talking at the sink, and later when Julia Ann talked with (can't remember her name now) about giving her Samantha's promotion.
