Does anyone else have a problem getting sound with the Girl Talk and Love and Marriage movies? We are playing them through our PS3 (updates are installed) which all of our other movies --including other Digital Playground movies-- work just fine. For some reason, we can hear the horses when the DVD or Blu-Ray begins and on the DVDs we can even hear the music at the menu screen, but once the movie starts, or you select a chapter, or go to any other selection there is absolutely no sound. It is the same on both discs for both movies. I can watch them on my laptop, but I can't hardly hear what is being said unless my ear is at the speaker, and then I can not see the screen. Anyone have any suggestions? We are frustrated and at a loss.

I am having trouble with the regular DVD and the Blu-Ray copies equally. It is only with these movies. I do not have any trouble with my DVD copy of Pirates and Friday the 13th that I just got this week. It is just these two movies for some odd reason.

I have heard another person was having problems with the sound quality. The other person's sound was extrmely loud in places and they would have to turn it down and ten turn it back up all the way for the dialouge.

You could try entering a supprt ticket or emailing Gary. I think emailing Gary would be good since he is heading up this Club. He is going to be on vacation until after Monday I think.
My DVDs have been perfect, howeverI have'nt tested out the Blu-Ray disc. I even made a remark abouthow good te sound quality was.
I am sorry this hs happened to you, I hope that this will be fixed

You have me worried a bit since we watch our porn on our PS3 too. I'll let you know if this is an issue when we watch ours. It could be just your copy of the disks or maybe it's how the PS3 reads them.

Haven't received mine yet, but hope it works since I use the PS3 too. I don't even have a regular DVD player unless I use the computer!

We don't have a regular DVD player either. We use our PS3 for movie watching. Please post if anyone else has an issue.

As a note, we just watched Girl Talk's Blu-Ray version on our PS3 with no issues. We have the old, backwards-compatible first generation of PS3 though, so that might have something to do with it. Haven't watched Love & Marriage though.

We've watched both on a regular DVD and were able to hear everything. However, Love and Marriage had some scenes where we had to really turn up the volume to hear the dialogue. We normally watch at volume level 6-7 and had to turn it up to 18. However, I have experienced sound issues with a previous DP movie.

I'm glad some do work. Bit annoying about having to turn up quite a bit in some places though.

Can't wait for mine to arrive tomorrow.

Do you have a surround sound system hooked up to your PS3? Maybe for some odd reason, you need to adjust the amp/receiver, or the surround settings.
Or if you have a regular stereo amp, try turning on/off the surround option.
Wish you had a regular DVD/Blu-Ray player to play it on. It almost sounds like you need to update the codecs in the PS3, if that is even possible.

OK. We had to take the optical audio cable off and put the audio through regular RCA cables. Odd! Have never had a problem with anything else and optical audio before. Oh well. I can hear it and that is all that matters. The DVD sound still has issues now and then I notice, the Blu-Ray isn't as bad.

We have a surround sound system and have experienced sound distortion during the sex scenes in Girl Talk (we haven't seen the other one). The distortion occurs when the actresses become loud and cry out. We have never had this problem with any of the other movies we've watched (including other adult films with the typical "crying out" and moaning sex sounds). We have to turn the volume down during the sex scenes as they begin to heat up to avoid hurting our ears (the sound of their cries becomes shrill, distorted, and "thin," if that makes any sense -- it's like the sound quality drastically changes for the worst during these parts). But in turning it down to save our eardrums, we then miss any dialogue.

I had a problem with Girl Talk's Blu-ray working at all? All three of the other cd's worked fine though.

It was so strange we just took off the optical cable for those two movies and it worked just fine. The optical works with our other DP movies, as well as regular movies too. Got me. I'm just glad I got to hear it finally. Although, I wonder if some of the remaining sound issues (like the moaning being louder than the rest of the dialog or the squeaking of the mattress overtaking everything else) would not have been there if the optical audio had worked. Got me. Strange though.

We noticed the same problems with the sound once we were finally able to play it.
