What is your favorite genre to read?

Some people only like to read books that fall into certain types of genres. I like to read a little bit of everything myself, but still find myself leaning towards certain types of books. What kind of books do you prefer?

Thriller/Horror, Erotica and Vampires are my favorite. Think Stephen King and Anne Rice.

I love romance such as Nicholas sparks, suspense such as jodi picoult or erotica such as fifty shades of grey.. but I can't read the same genre in a row because it gets boring...

I love all kinds. Favorites would be pretty much anything vampire related from authors like Anne Rice, JR Ward, Charlaine Harris and even some of the Young adult ones of that genre but I also love good mystery and suspense novels. Patricia Cornwell and James Patterson are favorites authors in that genre. Another good author is Cathy Glass. She's a woman who was foster mother to many troubled children and their stories, while heart wrenching, really are the kind that can give hope. They are a lot like Dave Peltzers "A Child Called It"

As far as random reads, both fiction and non fiction books on the holocaust or the Romanovs. Historical fiction, medical thrillers, sex drug and rock and roll type stories, especially biographies.

Currently about 75% non-fiction (history, sociology) and 25% fiction (mystery and suspense). The last fiction I read was The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. I can hardly wait for books 2 & 3...
