Ha! Yup, I have 10 million and 12 things bookmarked too. Thank god for chromes's sync feature so that when I switched computers all my bookmarks were saved and transported over.

Congratulations Kake! You're our third winner of a $25 gift card this evening. Please email me, and remind me that you have both a gift card and book coming.

Well, hubby did ask me to start whipping him. We're just getting started, but it is fun. Maybe someday I'll invest in a leather outfit. I'm sure he'd like that.

I have to say that I loved the different characters and how they developed and revealed(!) their personalities...

.
That could definitely be of use and you just gave me an idea - to do a pdf search on a pdf search engine. That could yield lots of interesting essays and the like!

And now I'm remembering the major instance of this, which is Gregory Maguire's take on the Oz books that begins with Wicked, from the witch's viewpoint and with her backstory. Very successful.

Hmm, just think of the trouble one could get into by eroticizing beloved children's books. Maybe better not think of it.

Congrats! I still think my favorite parts involved Lydia. Like I said I have scanned over it quickly since yesterday so I haven't had time to sit and take my time with it. I will be going back over it the next few days but I can totally picture her being as willing as she is to make out with anything. She really needed a site like Eden to help her out

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead -- Hamlet told from the point of view of minor supporting characters. Absolutely WONDERFUL play! They also made a very nice movie of it, but I actually prefer to read the play.

My sentiments exactly. Especially with the people like Lady Catherine and Lydia and others whom Austen didn't intend you to like, anyway.

I prefer being whipped but it sure is fun I can see how he would like it. I haven't gotten C to stand still for that yet but give me time...

I didn't really have a particular scene or anything that was my favorite part. What I liked best was just the clever writing.

Off-topic question--can someone point me to where on Eden Fantasy the point system is explained? And does the fundraiser you were mentioning make use of them? I have some from before I was moderating, but no idea of what to do with them.

I'd have to say, more has to do with my favorite characters. I loved it when Charlotte crossdresses in men's clothes and seduces girls. Ah, old school...

Hi thought I'd stop by and say "hi" I've read a number of reviews and excerpts from Mitzi's book and it looks like an impressive effort. Wishing you the best with it Mitzi.

If you go to your acct page, on the left side there's a link to Eden Points Program & it explains pretty much everything.

Back to P&P, as a writer, I most enjoyed the way Mitzi's writing style blended with Jane Austen's. Good writing turns me on.
