I think "Everything" 's the way to do it inclusively. I know we've got some vocal participants of many religions and non-religions on the board, so it's better not to leave anyone out.
Holiday Party Planning Meeting - Tuesday, November 1st @7pm

That would depend largely on what "everything" is. I feel oh so woefully ignorant of all the holidays going on at that time, so I don't know what things we should include, what things we shouldn't include, if we can include most or all of them, etc.

That was my issue as well, because I know the trivia is a big hit with everybody and I don't want to offend anybody by including or not including something.

Hubby did not have to work late tonight. I just wanted to hurry and pop in and say Hi all. Have happy meeting.

Lol, last year I think it was fairly laid back. I remember there was a Secret Santa that we can try to do again if there's interest.

I'll have to look into how Gary did it all last year, but I think it's something that could be doable. I'll make a poll and see how people feel about it.

Secret Santa sounds like it would be fun. How would it work?

He had people email if they were interested. Then at the start of the party, people had to let him know if they were still participating. During the party, he somehow assigned names and messaged them individually.

We set a price limit ($15 I think?) and everyone made a wish list of items they'd like. The gift wasn't a total surprise, but it was still fun to participate.

I'm back, sorry about that. My Grandma is 96 this year, she had a fall at church and dad was giving me an update. Thankfully she is just fine.

I think 15 is a reasonable price. 15 to 20. You can probably send a few small items that would add up to that price range. Which is fun.

The only issue, and I don't remember how it was resolved, is for international members that wish to participate. I think the international people exchanged with themselves and maybe EF lowered the shipping or something?
