I suspect that fact that it's the Friday before the start of a three day weekend (for Americans) and a national holiday (for Canadians) plays a bigger role. A lot of people went out of town or have guests coming into town.

That's very true as well. Either way, considering it's a Friday night on a holiday weekend I think we're moving along quite nicely.
