They flick the hair on their backs in defense. They make humans really itchy. But nothing that would last more than an hour or so. Ive never had it happen but Ive seen spiders do it. They get these giant bald spots on their backs after.

That's so bizarre to me. I really like that they respond as pets, but I also just can't quite wrap my head around it.

Yeah kinda, you can feel there fibers on their pads attach to you. But they dont stick in you and it doesnt hurt or itch. It just kind of feels like suctions a little bit.

I love that the three-ish convo points are spiders, candy sales, and children.

I never give candy to trick-or-treaters...

I learned a new thing today, and I like it a lot. D'aww and twitch, and I hope your spiders never have to go hairless

I figured on that, there's just as much candy in the Wally World as X-mas stuff during that season. That's a lot of sugar, eh?

When i was younger, I'd love going to the rich neighborhoods, the walks between houses were long, but worth it. Handfuls of candy and full-size bars!

Totally Random - I need to make Colcannon for Halloween. Need to remember to get the potatoes, cabbage, and scallions during the weekly grocery shopping.

We just can't afford it. Plus I can't eat any if we had left overs and neither could my husband since he is lactose intolerant.

Though I do remember the Xanth books having awesome spiders. Maybe I should re-read those to help with the fear.

Bobbing for apples is thought to have originated from the roman harvest festival that honors Pamona, the goddess of fruit trees.

I would trick-or-treat in my friends' neighborhood. They'd fill most of your bag in like 10 houses, and there were a lot more than 10 houses to hit up.

^ this. Though at least the shapes they have are good; I'd be disappointed if they released new ones and they weren't as well-designed.

I grew up in a rural enough area (see some of my video reviews) that trick-or-treating on foot wasn't possible. We usually went to a community halloween party at the Lion's Club hall.
