Poetry seems to have ignited a spark in the community! We have a few more days before I finalize the list of work we'll be talking about at the meeting this month. My question for you guys is: Do you want to keep a category for poetry as a monthly thing? I don't want to turn our focus too far in one writing style's direction but if you guys wanna explore poetry we can explore poetry until we get tired of it!

Anyhow lemme know what you think. I'm looking for reader opinions as well as writer opinions. What do YOU guys wanna write, read and comment on?

I like the fact that as Woman China said, "Everyone writes poetry!" It's accessible and easy to read. I'd love to see some really happy stuff but you know what? We write what is in our hearts and getting the ick out can be really helpful too. It shares a darker side of ourselves and helps us connect to each other.
Let's all try to remember that we are worthy of love and acceptance, though, ok? Repeat that until you believe it while you write about your trauma. It's true...you are all lovely people and deserve love and happiness.

Ok, enough. Tell me what YOU think!

I think you are fabulous!!!

I would like to see one thread dedicated to poetry so we can add to it.

For me personally, I think seeing all the #EdenLit in the titles with the set up at the moment looks a little cluttered (sorry Forum gods!!).

I know!!!

But the look awfully silly in my opinion. And can you make that a cherry dildo Popsicle??? I'd enjoy it oodles more in my belly than over my head!!!!

We can keep poetry, maybe even do some feature poetry like learning to do different forms.

If you were to enter "#" in the search, it would pull up all of those threads. It's actually rather neat.

Yay I am glad to hear we are going to keep the poetry, I find that while its something I can write even when my life takes a hectic turn and I can't get say a longer narrative out.
