Speaking of those pictures I nearly fell off my chair laughing when I saw the ones chosen for my work....the pic of the woman with her panties around her ankles was hilarious given the content of the poem.
The look on the dog's face for the second one was exactly what my dog was looking like when he ran into the room! >.< He was so proud of his new plaything.

The moral of the story is plain to be seen,
If a trip to the ER doesn’t make you feel keen,
Remember to use toys with grace and with care,"
This part reminded me that I have to be careful as I always seem to get hurt doing the simplest of things.
No flared base... stay away from my tush!!! Should make that a bumper sticker

Were you guys surprised to read about the real St. Patrick? I know I was! I realized as I sat with a blank notebook page in front of me that I really didn't know ANYTHING about the man, himself. So I went to the source and accessed the Catholic Archives and found out the real story...really interesting stuff he went through.

I will have to look out for that. But I really would want to get my favourite erotica writer published first.

We were always taught in school that he was the patron saint because he got rid of all the snakes.

In a sense it is true but if you know anything about Ireland you know there are, in fact, snakes there! The druids called themselves 'Adders' as the adder was sacred to the Goddess. They said that they fed from her Adder's milk.

So when it is said that St. Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland they are talking about the Druids.

I found it interesting that the day ends up falling on Easter. I also loved Merridia's story. So full of imagery.
03/14/2011
The alst story was posted by my real life friend Meridia and is a work in progress. It's a pretty involved story but she assures me it will get steamy in some parts! What did you guys think?

I am looking forward to reading the continuation of it. I think the imagery and the character development was well done, in my opinion.

It does get pretty steamy at the end there, very determined that one is.

So any thoughts on what we should write about next month? I'm thinking Spring could be a theme...I know I'm pining for some warm balmy spring days! What do you guys think?

I enjoyed it, lots of great imagery and descriptions, and good character development as well. But the lack of paragraphs for me took away from the story as a whole as I had to stop rest my eyes, then come back.
Even though the words were amazing on the page, it was not as steamy as it would have been for me as I ended up reading it in a few sittings over time.
