Assigment List for October/November 2011 Writers Club

Contributor: Airen Wolf Airen Wolf
November presented some thoughtful topics. We want it to be a challenge so we aren't going with the usual November fare. This Month's topics are:
*Gratitude- This can be what you are grateful for or what you believe people should be grateful for. All about gratitude, tell us your take on the topic.
*Pilgrimage- Have you experienced a pilgrimage? Do you like and want to share the history of the pilgrimage? This topic is one of discovery.
*Open Topic- Our perenial favorite the open topic. Writing for the sake of writing.

If you are interested in writing for the club simply mail your work as an attachment to (Rayne at edenfantasys dot com) with the subject line being Eden Lit Submissions.

Our deadline for submissions is October 24, 2011 and we have a limit of three submissions per author per month. If you consent to your work being published on the Eden Lit Blog you will receive a $10 gift card for EdenFantasys per submission up to a total of $30.
The deadline will be enforced and any pieces sent in after the date will be posted but may be posted after the meeting if time doesn't permit.

We are asking for finished pieces and a maximum of three pieces per author. This is subject to change in the future depending on the popularity of the club.

There is no set writing style, the pieces can be anything from poetry to raunchy erotic literature. If your piece needs an introduction please include it with the submission to Rayne.
This club is open to everyone, not just writers. The pieces will be published during the two weeks before the next meeting of the writer's club, where we hope to see all of you!

That sounds like some good things to consider. I think I'll get started.

Is this something you have to sign up for to be in the club before you can in submissions, or just submit?

You don't have to sign up for anything. No contracts, hidden fees, or giving up your first born. Simply submit your work to Rayne (Rayne at edenfantasys dot com) with the subject line being Eden Lit Submissions.

There is no set style of writing. You can do any combination of the two topics and free category. Gift cards are awarded for only three. Gift cards are not awarded for work placed on your own personal blog or site but you can write a teaser that links back to the Eden Lit Blog. Rayne will contact you in a few days after receipt to confirm and your gift card will be sent.

Feel free to check out the blog to check out pass submissions, follow us on twitter for club updates, and check back at the forum. Any questions can be submitted in the here.

The group came up with great topics...a lot of room for creativity. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

I worked away the last writing period, so I hope I'll catch my stride and be able to write again for this one! Really great topics this time, folks. I'll be plotting my pieces all day tomorrow.
