Our topic for the February 2013 Eden Lit meeting was writer's block and in the spirit of helping get the creative juices flowing I though why don't we have a weekly free write? You know, a place where you just sort of start with some little idea and then tease your muse to show up and play a while.
So here's what we will do: I'll provide a little something to get you started and all you have to do is use the idea in the comments section and simply write. However long or short is up to you-even a simple sentence is a start, right? You can write prose, poetry or even just talk about how the prompt does nothing special for you. The object is just to write SOMETHING...anything!
Right- so here goes:
Write about what might have prompted this sentence: "You have to be careful about gun shot residue and blow back. Wear gloves and stand back far enough that you don't get blood and other matter on your clothing."
