Hello I Am Storm;
When you are on Blogspot, you don't get as much attention from Google and Search Engines which makes it harder to get your content seen by search engines. Plus, with the adult content warning, some visitors may not click through to see your stuff. Along with that, Blogger limits you in the designs and other choices you have, so if you want to change around a lot with your design, moving to a Domain is better.
However, having a domain and hosting costs money, so that's really the biggest con. Aside from that, I really can't think of any other cons.

thank you so much! sometimes I wish I had a blogging mentor. lol
i keep getting offers for hosting that I can afford, so I should get to work on it. You made some really valid points. On blogger I have only had one google key word search. and I love to change the design around, it's like redecorating! I have heard that same issue regarding the adult content warning.
so if money is the only con, I don't have much of that, but i do have the patience to find a good deal.
