Tripods [Article]

Contributor: Vaccinium Vaccinium
I posted an article on tripods at the Eden Clubs and Events Blog. Hopefully this will help those of you interested in getting a tripod to help their photography. In my estimation, there is no more important piece of equipment for photography (other than the camera itself, of course) than the tripod.

As always, past articles and current announcements can be found at the Clubs and Events Blog and discussion on all things photography can be found at the Eden Photographers subforum. If you have any questions about the article or on tripods in general, feel free to post them in this thread.

Tripods are very necessary, with every photographer i modeled for all of them brought one along. I Love them because my camera has a timer so I just set it up on the tripod and set the timer! Do you suggest any?

There are two in the article linked above (the pink, underlined "tripods") that I recommend for the budget-minded photographer (i.e., under about $100). If money is less of an object, it really depends on the features you want. After reading the article, if there are particular features you want, I can do a little research and see what I can find.
