Help me choose another photo?

Contributor: Pumpk1nPatch Pumpk1nPatch
I was so happy with the response I got last time and it definitely helped me choose what photo to use.
So, I have to choose one of my images to have framed and displayed over the weekend. These two are from the same set, but I'm so up in the air. Which one do you think? It's going to be a 2 foot by 3 foot print, if that factors in to your decision.

I definitely prefer the first one to the second one. The image of your model sitting by the window, staring off into space is much more evocative to me than the one where she is lying on the table - perhaps I watch too much crime television. I also think that it's possible that I'm more fond of the portrait style photograph when a human subject is involved - I don't know that that would be true in any case, but I think that it's a factor in this one. The layout and the way that the window is in the centre of the photo rather than the model are both very appealing to me.

I like the first image a lot! Both are excellent shots, though. I love the expression on her face, and the composition and lighting is really nice.

I think I'd like the second shot more if it was a wider shot, and the camera was panned up more (the bottom of the shot slightly cutting off the bottoms of the table's legs) so the model is closer to the bottom of the picture. All of that is a matter of taste, though. Thanks for sharing!

These are great too. I was really drawn in by the first one, but both are great. So, you take these yourself, right? They are amazing & you have some serious talent, Mrs. Hellzapoppin!!!!!

I like the first one best and could almost imagine myself sitting there thoughtfully in contemplation of something on my mind or just letting it wander without thought.

Yep, I'm going with the majority again - photo #1 for me.

I think my personal taste with the composition of the 2nd photo is in line with Llewey's comments, but as she says it's just a matter of personal taste. No right or wrong there.

Nice work!

I love them both, but #1 just really sings out to me. It's not just the different position of the model for me, but a lot of the other little details in the picture (position of the blinds not laying right with the curtains, difference in the chipping paint, position of the broken glass on the floor). I just love it.

I seemed to have missed the last set of photos you put up. I'm going to have to look that up now!

The first one. It evokes something inside of me. The second just makes me scratch my head.
