My partner and I would like to try e-stim however I have a Vagus Nerve Stimulator implanted. (like a pacemaker for epilepsy) I am looking for someone experienced with it to tell meif it'd be safe, would I be able to use it on him, etc?
Is anyone familiar with the safety of electrostim?

I think this is definitely a question for a medical professional. I wouldn't trust the opinions of people on the internet when it comes to things like this.

Holy crap, seriously, don't mess with it. Bring the product you're interested in, along with all the info, OR send a link to the info to the Dr and get advice from our current treating physician for your implant. They are the ONLY one who can safely help you with this! I wouldn't even be the one using it on my partner, just in case even that much exposure is dangerous. Can you imagine how badly your partner would feel if you started having some kind of reaction and he had to get you to the ER all over a sex toy? IMO, it is not worth the risk when it's easy enough to get an answer.

NO!!! DO NOT TRY THIS!!!!
You do not want to have a vagal response in reaction to the e-stim! This can cause serious damage or death. I have a severe vagal response and had to have surgery to deaden part of the nerve so I could function normally. Trust me--this is a bad bad idea!!!!

I concur with the poster that said ask your Dr.
My Master and I, do use E-stim/TENS for the sensation. But we're sort of/reasonably healthy. *grins* Ok, maybe not exactly, since we were both prescribed these devices for medical reasons.... originally.
The one thing I know NEVER to do, is to cross the leads across the heart.
NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER do that.
But please, for safety's sake.... see the Doc, first.
