The D Ring holds the O ring in such a way that when it falls off the collar, it is in a flatter position, if that makes sense to you. D-rings typically are useful because they lay flat against the skin, so they are more comfortable than an O ring if something is skin tight. I usually see D rings on leather collars or other materials on their own, and they provide a place for the O ring to hang off of.

When you attach restraints to someone, you usually attach it to their O ring. Though, it varies between restraints. less

I work for Petco! My kitty side takes over sometimes when I see all the shiny pretty collars and feather toys. OMG. Sometimes I lose myself when stocking and playing with the feathers and other kitty toys. I have a collar that my husband will put on me when he's feeling the kitty play to let me know that it's ok to get into that space. less

Thanks. The collar thing works well because we don't have a strict D/s or Master/slave relationship. I tend to identify as a switch. But it works to separate our pet play and keep me as a sub in those situations. I totally have a hard time. Especially because I get a discount and know when things go on sale. less

That is a tough one.

I think the grooming is something that Master and me do that I've never *heard* other people saying that they do. I'm sure that others do it, but I haven't heard of it like Master and me.

Master will gag me, put my kitty mittens on, and buckle wrist cuffs on over them so I can't get them off (not that I'd try!). Then, he'll usually put my kitty ears on and cuff my ankles, and then cuff me in an awkward position. (For example, with my wrists and feet clipped together in front, though is changes.) Then he will shave the back of my head, rub my paws, clean my ears, clip all my nails, and generally do the same things he does for our regular cats.

I don't think there are things others do that we wouldn't, truthfully. There's a lot out there, and while there are some things which may not appeal to us at the moment, our tastes change. In the beginning of our relationship, I don't think either of us thought we'd be doing the things we do now! less
