I'm unsure if that part was not real. I know that Mila was fucking with Natalie's mind, so I wondered if she was just saying it didn't happen to further mess with her.

Sometimes I wish movies like this had an explanation guide. But that would ruin the suspense and questioning.

piece of work is an understatement. I had this whole feeling of discomfort and weird emotional/sexual abuse during the scenes with her mom. Especially with all the paintings. It was creepy

They had a weirdly dependent relationship. I was scared of her mom.
