It's probably been a good 10+ years since I've had one. I like them, but I'm not crazy about them!

Yesterday at A&W.

I make it a point to get to A&W for a REAL one a few times a year. But I make them myself all the time.

Never...
06/07/2012
Hmm.. probably over a year or so.

Coke float for me!

When I was pregnant with my 3.5 year old. I think I want one now.

A few weeks ago--as soon as it was warm enough for one! I LOVE root beer floats.

Never.

i can't even tell you when
06/07/2012
Less than a week ago, but it doesn't usually happen that often.
06/07/2012
Wow, it's been years! Thanks for reminding me that they exist. Now I want one.

A couple weeks ago.

Not since I was a kid.

I don't even like the taste of root beer; I prefer cream soda floats.
06/08/2012
It's been a couple months, but I added Buttershots
06/08/2012
I definitely haven't had one in years. Thinking about them brings back a lot of memories though

You know, now I want to make my own soda. I bet it's so much better tasting and for you than canned.
My last float wasn't root beer. It was Pepsi and vanilla ice cream. And it was like a year ago.

But my feeling is that making homemade ice cream is the key to your sooooooooooooooooo good float! I think the sodastream product may be overrated. I would rather use A&W root beer or another major brand soda for a REAL one!

As a matter of fact, a local chain had root beer floats for $1 on Memorial Day weekend. We coulnd't resist and had 3 over the weekend!! They were yummy. Sometimes we go to McD's and get a Diet Coke and one of their frozen yougurt cones and mix up our own Diet Coke float!! I look at it as a healthy fast food option!! At home you can always use diet root beer!!
@Terri69--what do you think of your sodastream? It seems expensive and probably next year it will be near impossible to get refills.

Made RB floats for the kids last night.... yummmy!!!!!
We have a SodaStream too, and LOVE it!!!! It is so nice to be able to control what goes into your soda, flavor and sugar/sweetener wise. I don't think I will ever drink store bought soda again!!!
