What fish is beneficial & least contaminated?

Contributor: @cammingcouple @cammingcouple
after seeing this poll link and running a "green" blog, we see alot of articles about fish from thailand(chemicals like pcb's are rampant there) and they are in our grocery, we do have a local fish market that supplies seafood from off the coast... Still don't know if it can be trusted. We eat chia seeds, and flax for omega 3's since the Mr. doesn't like fish at all. I miss the taste of fish sometimes...

What fish in your opinion or from your research is the most beneficial and has the least chance of being contaminated with synthetic chemicals?

Catch your own so you know which lake they're coming from? I don't eat fish but we would catch a lot of bluegill, my dad is an avid fisherman and would bring home salmon. I would have to google it for nutrition info. I ate a can of Bumblebee tuna the other day and got a migraine, I think it was the mercury for sure.
