OMG I love potatoes but I couldn't live with out sweet potatoes

I stopped eating white potatoes for a couple of months, then had some mash potatoes a few nights ago and found I couldn't stomach them. They were prepared from the same recipe I used for years, but they tasted horrible to me.

Sweet potato all the way!

Sweet potatoes are too pricey to be more than a delicacy where I live. i love regular potatoes, though, too. They are such a versatile and filling food that I could not live with out them!!

I made the change to sweet potatoes this year but I only ever make french fries with chillies and garlic, otherwise I really don't like potatoes of any kind!

I'd like to offer a hearty "both," even though I voted for "regular" potatoes. There are WAY too many varieties of "regular" potatoes to ever compare them as a group to sweet potatoes.

I challenge all of you who pick "regular" potatoes, next time you make a batch of mash, try adding one large sweet potato for every four potatoes. EVEN if you think you hate sweet potatoes! You'll never go back.

We love both but baked potatoes run our blood sugars out the top while sweet potatoes don't! Yummy with butter and cinnamon! Almost as good as chocolate!!

I love both! I'd rather have both but that wasn't an option. There's a time and a place for sweet potatoes when the mood strikes. Yum. Regular potatoes are always good too.
