Has anyone ever been on the Paleo diet? If so, did you have success with it? I have read that it can be very beneficial, not only for weight loss but to stabilize your sugar levels. Do you have any recipes?

I personally haven't, but I know a few people who are...
Imo, it's the new fad.

Same here. Public opinion of what's "healthy" and what "works" changes almost daily. This sounds like just another excuse to slap an "organic" label on things and charge three times as much as it's worth, in the name of Paleo this time.

I have heard of it, but I haven't been on it. I had a friend who tried it, and she found it very difficult.

I have slowly been trying to follow it a bit more, while I find it easy to give up things like breads and what not. Dairy is harder cause I really love things like cheese and ice cream.
However, I am finding that just changing up my diet to eat more veggies and fruits has helped dramatically.

I know some folks who do this diet religiously, and it does work for weight loss when combined with appropriate exercise or weight lifting - but several have reported having elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels since starting the diet. Some to the point their doctors were concerned they would start having serious problems. Yeah, I suppose if your diet has you eating 2 lbs of meat and a dozen eggs a day, no matter how many veggies you have along with it, you will have problems.
Try it and see if it's good for you, but certainly monitor your health and take appropriate steps if things get out of hand.
