Love Paula Dean!

Paula Deen for sure is my favorite tv chef!

Make it another vote for Paula Deen. She's so spunky but I don't think I could actually eat her food. That much butter makes my tummy hurt. I also love Top Chef on Bravo! Go Antonia

My favourite chef is definitely Gordon Ramsay. Mmmmmm.

I like Paula Deen a lot too. She reminds me of my mom. I really don't like the Lady on the Barefoot Contessa Show that's on the food network. I can't think of her name but I think her show is really boring compared to all the other cooking shows.

Anthony Bourdain, although he's rarely shown cooking anymore. Other than that, I like Ina Garten and Alex Guarnaschelli for simple, rustic, yet rich recipes, and Martha Stewart for those more complicated. For everyday food, Alton Brown. And I like to watch Nigella Lawson, even though I never care for anything she cooks - she's just absolutely beautiful

That's Ina Garten - I'll admit, the show gets tedious, but her recipes rock.

My favorite is Alton Brown, partly because of the way he explains things in a geeky fun way. Anthony Bourdain has a show called "No Reservations" on the Travel channel - it's pretty good and although he doesn't cook, he tries out different foods (not just the "disgusting" ones like Andrew Zimmerman).

I like Alton too, I think it is fun to hear some science behind the food.

My favorite chef is my husband. Nobody else caters every dish to my exact specifications! His favorites are morimoto, bobby flay, and Mario Batali.
03/13/2012
I like Jamie Oliver, Mario Batali, Gordon Ramsay, Giada, even Bobby Flay. It seems I'm drawn to people who have (mostly) been chefs in restaurants and not just on tv.
03/14/2012
Most TV chefs I like more for their personality than their recipes, as I tend to try to create my own dishes or follow my mother and grandmother's recipes.
That being said, my favorites are:
Mario Batali, Anne Burrell, Robert Irvine, Paula Deen, Anthony Bourdain and Guy Feiri.

I totally have to agree with you about Nigella Lawson! She's just mesmerizing to watch! Gorgeous! I haven't yet been able to focus on her recipes. I'll try next time she's on and get back to you. LOL!
