Welcome to the February Meeting of Eden Cooks! Eden Cooks is a cooking club for any interested members of the Eden community. We will meet on the forum to discuss everything from tips and pointers for less well-equipped kitchens, explanations of cooking terms, and important techniques. There will be a featured recipe each meeting, with pictures taken as I prepare it for you. I will cover some ingredient substitutions to make each recipe more friendly to people with dietary restrictions.

Thanks for the recipe links. I have seen "chili chocolate" before but I am not adventurous enough to try it--has anyone ever eaten it? I went to both links and the 2nd also had some good information about melting chocolate. I tried the basic recipe and I ended up waiting too long to form the balls because the chocolate got really hard. I just left it on the counter to soften but it didn't work out too well. I am looking forward to the chocolate class. less
