I make extremely delicious vegetarian/vegan chinese food and am wondering if any of you have tried it, or if any of you cook it! And which is "better?"
Do you prefer chinese food regular or vegetarian?

Since I'm a vegetarian, I always get the veggie options. I can't really say if it's better because I haven't had meat in so many years that I have forgotten what it tastes like.

I am not a vegetarian but it just tastes better.

I love to eat vegetarian chinese food served at a proper chinese vegetarian ONLY restaurant, since the food they cook are totally different from the vegetarian food regular chinese places serve, sad thing is there's not many of those around.

This applies to me as well. I've been a vegetarian for 25 years and so.. I only eat vegetarian food. However, most Chinese restaurants will use chicken fat even in their "veggie" dishes. Just so you know.

I have to say that I refuse to eat Chinese Food in North America.
But here in China??? Oh dear lord. Thank goodness I live in China and can eat seafood dishes, veggie dishes, meat dishes (MMM!!! Mongolian deer and lamb over the fire in the grasslands are just... mouthwateringly swoon in foodgasms)... and street food is my favourite.

Or that chicken broth mix? I don't know what it is called exactly, but they use that for flavourings and to keep the "freshness" of the veggies. And many also use fish oil rather than veggie oil.

I like a lot of veggie dishes, but being as my favourite Chinese dishes are Duck Rice Noodle Soup, Chicken with Lobster Sauce, and Dry Fried Squid, I think I'm going on the side of the omnivore this time, as I tend to. I eat a lot more veggies than meat, but I still like it.

Try to avoid the fried chicken dishes, but otherwise I'm all about the meat.

I like both the meat dishes and the vegetarian dishes. I love Chinese food pretty much any way I can get it.

Either way, I don't care. I just love Chinese food.

I kind of don't like how "meat-having" (assumed) is perceived as "regular..." Whereas veg* isn't.
I don't mind either way, but have been tending to consider veg* options more
