Yes, we usually bake TONS of cookies. Last year we didn't because our oven was broken, no cookies But this we year have a new (to us) oven, so COOKIES!

We're actually going to be replacing our 28 year old oven very soon, and I'm a little sad about it going. I'm still excited about the new oven though, so I imagine I'll get over the loss. hehe.

If I wanted my holidays to consist of burnt food and/or parts of the house, then I would bake like a mad woman. Lucky for me my boyfriend is an amazing cook!

I make a family recipe for cookies that because it cannot be cut down any further, I end up making about 20 dozen cookies from one batch. Needless to say a lot of it ends up as gifts...though a good a mount of it ends up staying with me.

I always bake things with my mother. It's a bit of a tradition and it's nice to spend time together.

I love watching cooking shows over Christmas, so there are always a few new recipes I find that look worth trying or adapting a little.
