Hi guys! Just got my 13 yr old blood work back yesterday and he is pre-diabetic. Of course he is my pickiest eater and loves deserts and fried foods. Well he cant have that in the normal way anymore. I am wondering if anyone has any good recipes that are low in sugar and carbs that you can email me or msg me. We have an appointment thats being scheduled with a nutritionist but I am racking my brain trying to think of things that he will eat that aren't going to make this any worse. Thanks! sexyintexas@hotmail.co m

I don't have any recipes at hand, but one way to make him the 'fried' foods he loves is to give them a very light brush with oil and bake them in the oven instead of frying on the stove top. That removes a lot of the 'bad' fat and brings down the calorie count.
