I'm not much of a milk drinker, but my husband loves white milk and my boys love chocolate milk. What are everyone else's preferences when it comes to milk?

I now hate the taste of milk, but when I was younger, I loved rice milk.
10/16/2011
I can't stand animal milk. I prefer unsweetened, vanilla rice milk, but I will drink any of the others (coconut, hemp, soy, rice).
10/16/2011
Mmmmmm almond milk...makes the best mochas!
10/16/2011
I like regular milk and chocolate milk. The grocery store here also sells banana milk, orange milk, strawberry milk, rootbeer milk, and vanilla milk. I think most of the flavored milks are gross though.

Almond milk is really good too.

I'm not much of a milk drinker. When I do drink it, it has to be chocolate!
10/16/2011
Almond milk for me!
10/16/2011
I love chocolate milk. I also love strawberry. yummmm
10/16/2011
I'm another fan of almond milk altho I'm also a sucker for chocolate milk.
10/16/2011
I love chocolate Silk!
10/17/2011
I'm allergic to milk, so I drink original flavored Coconut milk.
10/17/2011
I mostly drink white milk, but for a treat I like chocolate, strawberry, or caramel (that one tends to make me feel extra guilty because you have to add a LOT of caramel to get a strong caramel taste)
10/17/2011
I like chocolate milk and chocolate almond milk.
10/17/2011
Chocolate almond milk is my favorite.
10/17/2011
I love white milk. I don't like chocolate, so chocolate milk isnt't for me, and soy/almond milk just tastes weird to me.
10/17/2011
I like chocolate almond milk. Or raw white whole milk. Or banana milk that comes in little cartons at the asian food stores. I used to not like milk at all so its saying something that I like those things.
10/17/2011
Chocolate milk, strawberry milk, strawberry banana milk is good too.
10/17/2011
whole white milk is the best.

We keep the whole milk in the fridge as a staple, and our children drink it as well. However, Almond milk is HUGE in this house. It is the best in coffee, protien shakes, smoothies, or just as a plain glass! Our children love it as well and its a nice substitute to cows milk which I try to limit.

I usually only drink white skim milk.
10/18/2011
When it comes to milk, I'm pretty boring. I go for the plain, unsweetened almond milk.
10/20/2011
I will drink soy, almond, and 1% white milk. I prefer almond milk for my cereal/cooking, but If I'm going to just drink a glass of milk it's got to be cow milk. As far as chocolate milk goes, the only kind I like is dark chocolate almond milk mmmmm.
10/27/2011
Skim milk, rice milk, soy chocolate milk, etc.
10/29/2011
chocolate milk on occasion, but i mainly drink milk because it's for cereal, for I've eaten something rich and sweet (cookies for example) and need unsweetened milk.
10/29/2011
soy milk! I love soy milk and yogurt milk too.
10/30/2011
White chocolate - mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
10/30/2011
I hate the taste of milk.
10/31/2011
I don't really care for milk, but every once in awhile I might have some chocolate milk. Plain white milk even less often, only if it's super cold and I have a warm cookie or a brownie
10/31/2011
white

EDIT:
I have very strong feelings about this.
I'm a Lactation Consultant and realize and appreciate the biological specificity of different milk from different species and it makes NO sense to EVER consume the milk of an other species of mammal. This can cause severe immune function issues, predisposes you to diabetes, immune system issues, mucous formation, allergies and more (none of it good) and I would advise anyone who consumes milk or milk products to do some research into the dangers of drinking the lactation fluid of a bovine animal realize how different bovines are from ourselves (the extremely low IQ, the massive muscle mass, full development at one year of age, and the three stomachs being of bovines only the beginning of the differences) and rethink their choice.
I think cow milk drinking by humans is an extremely poor choice, both from a health perspective and otherwise. There is NO need for milk after weaning, and ANY milk consumed by a mammal should be only from the same mammal. (meaning humans should only drink human milk, cows should only drink WHOLE cow's milk etc. This is backed up by myriad data and scientific study.)
NO other animal consumes the milk of an other species and NO mammal consumes milk in any form after weaning. There is simply no reason FOR it and a lot of reasons against it.
Mileage, but.... yuck.
If this doesn't work for you, simply move on. But, I feel it had to be said.

11/02/2011
I rarely drink chocolate milk. I'm a 1% girl-no skim for me, please!
11/02/2011
I'm not much of a straight up milk drinker. I on occasion will have chocolate coconut milk and use regular coconut milk in replacement of milk when cooking. The only thing I'm not sure of is if it can replace it in things like bechemel sauce.

My first ever paycheque, however, was spent on shrimp and chocolate milk. Oh, to be 15 with no bills or worries concerning my metabolism.

It usually depends on what I'm eating to decide what type of milk I drink.
11/12/2011
White is my preferred, I could drink a full gallon of milk in a day myself if it didn't mess with my stomach after a good few glasses(Too much calcium makes my stomach freak out and get acidic).
I do also like goats milk, almond milk and coconut milk, but I don't drink them often.

Pretty much all of the above. I drink white milk, I prefer chocolate milk but definitely don't drink it all the time, and I also often will drink soy milk. Sometimes, I drink chocolate soy milk.

With my health shake I use 0% white but if I'm drinking the milk alone I only like flavored. My favorites are chocolate, strawberry, and banana. The gas station down the road carries Nesquik in banana, I wish they would make it in a powder and sell it to grocery stores. A few years ago WalMart carried a mix that turned color in milk in odd flavors, I bought bubblegum and it was actually REALLLLLLY good but it's no longer on the shelves

I love plain, skim milk. I've tried rice milk, almond milk, and coconut milk. Whilst they were decent in cereal, they just weren't that good to me by themselves. They didn't taste bad, they just didn't reach the amazing taste of cow's milk. And I really don't like chocolate milk. Chocolate always makes stuff taste warm. It's also why I don't like chocolate on my fruit.

I like chocolate milk, but prefer white milk. I don't often use it because I'm usually guilted into buying the gallon jug, as it's so much cheaper by volume, but then I can't use it before it expires. If I need milk for a recipe or just have a taste for it, I usually just grab a quart carton and hope I can finish it off.

I love chocolate milk but I don't drink it that often. I make it for my 3 year old all the time and I just take a sip of his sometimes.

When we drank cow's milk I'd enjoy it either chocolate or strawberry flavored, but I barely drank it white. These days we've switched over to drinking almond milk and I can drink it without anything added to it.

Love milks like rice, hazelnut, almond.
I become pampered, though, when I have flavored milks. It makes it so non-sugary milks start tasting nasty.

White, half-percent milk.

I can only drink a little of skim milk or I get sick. I'm allergic to coconut milk. I love unsweetened soy milk and dark chocolate almond milk.

I don't really like milk. Except coconut milk. That is yummy occasionally.
