maybe next time? it's just three simple cards and a toss in the mail. it seems overwhelming to me too sometimes but it's fun, and gives me a sense of accomplishment. and its such a nice surprise to get art in the mail!

Nothing Holiday crafty yet. Just playing around with drawings and a fussy sewing machine. Once I settle it down I was thinking of making some ornaments.

My roommate and I have been planning out a duct-tape tree topper for our black "anti-christmas" tree. Haha. Right now Pikachu is on top of it, but it's really cool like that.

In other news that isn't holiday related, I had an idea for floor seat pillow things. We're too cheap to buy a dining room table and chairs and were just going to get a coffee table and I was going to take square pieces of wood and put padding on top of them and staple a piece of fabric over it, all upholstery-like. Very zen.

Cool!

I'm still waiting for someone to come up with instructions for making a steamer trunk so I can store my sex toys.

When it comes to art, it's like you have to find your niche. I know I hate drawing and refuse to do it, but I love painting and collage. Some people are better at things than others and you won't know where your strengths are until you really get out there and experiment with different styles.

Thats the sign of a great artist. Always believing you can improve and do better. If artist thought themselves as perfect what would be the point to keep doing it everyday. It would be boring. I strive to get better every time I make something, it keeps me going.

Yay!

I'm also excited for my next tattoo appointment. Well, not excited for how much I know it's gonna hurt but excited that I'll be one step closer to finishing my sleeve. I have an appointment on the 16th and I'll post pictures of it as soon as it's done.

Doesnt color fall out because you go too deep or not deep enough? Thats what my tattoo artist told me when we were discussing a kid who was giving tattoos at my school and none of them stayed and all the color fell out.

It is something like that and some people do not take all colors either.

I think also it can depend on how your skin takes to the ink too. I've lost ink in some spots, but I also think it was from scabs getting caught and ripping off. Generally if you make it bleed, you've lost the color.
