This year, we’re doing something different. We’ve touched on the Greek-based zodiac two years in a row already so I’ve decided to switch it up! This time, the ‘sign’ mentioned may not be yours since they are done in sets of years, but there are 12 of them! Perfect! Are you excited yet? Get ready, set, LEARN!
Sign – Dragon
Justly named, the Dragon is known as the mightiest of the signs. This sign is characterized as embodying dominance and ambition. Dragons march to the beat of their own drum and make their own rules in life. They are most successful when working alone. They are fiercely driven, unafraid of taking risks, and handle challenges well. And their energies are usually rewarded. They have passion and zeal in spades and they do things in grand fashion. Unfortunately, such enthusiasm can result in exhaustion. Or worse, the dragons may be left unfulfilled after such impressive effort. Though this sign rarely asks for help for themselves, they are usually very willing to help others who ask. Because of the dragons’ impressive control, success, and fervor people tend to be attracted to them. Partners just need to be aware of the dragons’ loner tendencies.
Dragons are most compatible with the Monkey and Rat and are incompatible with the Ox and Goat.
If you want to know if this is your sign and what element you are, see the years below. To learn more about your individual elements, search online for more cool facts! I couldn’t fit it all in a single post.
Metal Dragon – 1940 and 2000
Water Dragon – 1952 and 2012

Fire Dragon – 1916 and 1976

Something AWESOME in May’s History:
On May 21, 1881, the American Red Cross was founded by Clara Barton. Today, the organization provides volunteer disaster relief in the U.S. and abroad. As an example of the amazing work its done, here is an excerpt of their assistance during WWII: “We enrolled more than 104,000 nurses for military service, prepared 27 million packages for American and Allied prisoners of war, and shipped over 300,000 tons of supplies overseas. At the military’s request, the Red Cross also initiated a national blood program that collected 13.3 million pints of blood for use by the armed forces.”
