It depends on whether or not you have a California King or a regular King. If you have a regular King, it will probably fit as long as you don't have a mattress topper. I have a queen size mattress with a 4 inch mattress topper and it fits. The system is under my mattress AND my mattress topper so it has an extra 4 inches on either side to come up over to reach the top of my bed (if that makes sense...).
