I've been browsing collars on here, and some of them look really nice. They're all fairly pricey, so I'm hoping to find one that's good quality.
Whic collar is best for a beginner?

i love the ruff doggie hearts one

I'd recommend wearing a normal fashion-style fabric choker first before ordering something nice. I discovered that I absolutely cannot stand having anything touching my jugular area, even lightly, when things get heated. Maybe it's just me, though.

Something that is lined is really important, and then whatever you feel comfortable with. I voted for the collar with fur because I think that it will hold up well if you look at progressing.

I like the looks of the ruff doggie hearts one.

I think the heart collar looks the best but the fur one sounds most comfortable.

I'm seconding this. Some people end up hating stuff around their neck, so it might be worth getting a little cheap something before a full collar.

Out of these I like the Sinfully, but I don't think that's best for a beginner. I'd probably say the collar with fur for starter purposes since it's lined. That will help the comfort level.

Generally fur lined is a good beginner's type of collar.

Ruff Doggie has a sweet look to it

Ruff doggie, because you can sleep in it too, and it is nice looking and functional.

Agreed, not to mention the hopefully good construction and quality of materials used...

If I had a girl that would go for it I'd get her the Ruff Doggy Styles collar.

Anything with fur. My Divinity collar was the first I ever had and I love it.

The Ruff.

The sinfully soft has the added bonus of having lots of d-rings on it. That could be useful.

I went with the sinfully soft collar, though I did like the Ruff Doggie style as well! I go with no fur, because it bothers me when my fake fur gets damp during active play.
