Can I recommend meaningful, in-depth conversations (plural) between the dom and sub. Each couple is different. You will learn more that way than from any book.

There's many books out there, let alone the fact that blogs on the topic are a dime a dozen, so it can be tough picking out a good one.
I personally introduced my then-girlfriend, now-Mistress to the D/s Lifestyle with "The Mistress Manual" by Mistress Lorelei Powers - it's a classic and I highly recommend it!
