Although the two people that posted before me have very good points, I have dabbled in having my breasts wrapped in rope, tightly. I'm talking it looking like big purple grapes. Me and my partner never leave the ropes on long but it does make it much more sensitive. It leaves marks around your breast where the rope is and one time I did pop a few blood vessels because it was so tight but it didn't cause any serious damage. Just be careful and know your limits as well as use your safeword with a partner if you aren't comfortable. Do experiment. It is the only way to know if you like something. Goodluck xoxo

I'm talking about damage to the internal structures of the breast that can cause problems
years later. Ductal damage can and does occur if you are regularly bruising and making the breast "look like a big grape." You could possibly be damaging ductal structures or worse. There isn't absolute proof that damage in the breast increases breast cancer (we're talking 20 30 years after the injury) but some studies have shown co-occurrences.
I get BDSM, but I think any part of the body being bruised frequently can result in permanent damage, especially something as complicated as the structures in the breast.
A breast is a lot more complicated, and necessary than something simple like, say, a butt cheek. You are dealing with a complicated structure of not only vasculature and tissue, but a gland that secretes hormones, makes milk, and has its own system of lympmphatic drainage. We KNOW that cutting off lymph drainage, even temporarily can be carcinogenic and dangerous. This is just simple medicine.
