Trying to determine the Pain Scale

Contributor: bottled-diva bottled-diva
I'm trying to determine which type of toy are most and least painful.
If you can please rate items on a scale of 1 to 10.
Canes
Whips
Floggers (Thuddy)
Flogger (Stingy)
Paddles

If there is anything I'm leaving out let me know.

I think you're leaving out riding crops.

And there are more elements than just the kind of toy that go into the amount of pain they can cause, like what they are made out of. My main knowledge base on the matter is with floggers, and the type of material can very the amount of pain. I think generally, people find the stingy ones to be more painful, I know I do. But that can depend on individual preference and pain tolerance and such things

I'd say thuddy floggers and paddles. Stingy things like whips, thin canes and crops can hurt pretty bad very momentarily, I can take more thuddy pain.

Paddles are probably the least (amount can range depending on material). I find canes to be the most painful.

In general, anything with a smaller surface area is going to smart more because the impact is not being distributed, which is why paddles and floggers are less painful than, say, a cane. It's hard to rate pain level for someone else because everyone's reactions are somewhat different. Hope that guideline helped a bit though...
