Depends on your entry level. The Jack boot paddle means serious business. Even without whacking me good with this paddle...I welt. It's freaking awesome for marks. However, if you aren't into the marks and having a sore ass the next day...the fur lined one is good.

I LOVE the studded paddle, and have my eye on the rainbow nights paddle but haven't tried it out yet.
Sir has used a fur paddle on me, and I like the sensation but it's not much good for actual paddling for me, since I like something less soft.

I'm a little intimidated by the jackboot paddle honestly. And the fur lined paddle doesn't look intimidating enough
