I've been looking for a paddle or other slapping object recently--When I saw there were some to match the cuff set I'm purchasing, I got really excited! I've never used a slapping tool before and am not incredibly interested in whips, but am interested in a paddle/slapper. The only problem is... I can't tell what the difference is!
Between a paddle and a slapper, which would you choose and why?

Which do you prefer?

Please state which one you'd choose! Please also try to elaborate on why: is it because of the way it looks, the amount of pain it gives, the size, etc...

I've reviewed the slapper. I think a paddle might be a little more stiff. It obviously covers a wider area, while you can get more pinpoint stimulation with the slapper. However, I think slapper might be a litte bit erroneous, as I usually think of the narrow paddles with an extra layer for providing the slapping sensation.

I'm honestly not sure which I prefer physically, as I've not tried either. I'm kinda having the same dilema you are. But I'm probably picking up a slapper the next time I order.
It's a price thing, and a visual aesthetic thing.

They both are neat but I get the slapper over the paddle in this case.

I probably shouldn't be voting, since I don't have a slapper. But I love the simple thud of the paddle. I always figured slappers were for people who wanted extra noise, but someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Since I posted this I've actually decided that I think I want the paddle more. No one was able to give me a definitive reason for one over the other, since most people just answered the poll--which wasn't really what I was looking for. I think you're right though, Real or Memorex--I feel like the paddle looks a little sturdier to me, so that's what I'm going with. Noise is actually a slight deterrent, since we may need to use this while other people are in the house. I'll post when/if we ever get the paddle! Still waiting for it to come back in stock, though.

I almost always choose a paddle over a slapper every time. They last longer and you can cover more are with them.
