I picked the tweezer style over the clovers because they're cute but the two styles are pretty different in terms of intensity. If you want some serious bite, you'll probably prefer the clover style.

It depends on your amount of pain tolerance. The tweezer ones cause less pain, while the clovers can produce quite a lot of pain.

I always prefer the tweezer style. They're more adjustable.

It depends some on your nipple size, too. I like the tweezers because they are more adjustable.

I've been wanting to get my first set of nipple clips soon too, leaning towards the tweezer style. Once I try them, if I want something thats stronger I'll get a set of the others.

I just ordered the clover style nipple clamps and they have arrived at their destination, but... I'll not see them till I return to North America.
When I bought my first pair, I was going to buy the tweezer style, but after listening to friends and reading the reviews here, I decided they were not for me as was told they bend to easily, the dohickey thingie doesn't stay where it shoud and various other things. So I went with the weighted nipple clamps and so happy I did!!!
First timer or just wanting something pretty I say tweezers. Want a little bite? I say go with bull clamps and if you want something more than a bite? I say remove the twisty thing from the bull clamps. And if you want something more than that? Go with the clovers.

It depends on what you want. The tweezer clamps are adjustable, need to be tight enough to keep pressure on your nipple (or labia or where you put it) to stay on, but you can adjust the tension a little.
The Cloverleaf clamps are, for most people much more intense. Need I say more painful?
Most people do start with tweezer type and see how they like them before moving on to more heavy clamps like Cloverleaf and bullnose clamps.

I wholeheartedly agree, though the beads, depending on the material, may add some weight. to be perfectly honest, I'd go to your local drugstore & buy 2 kinds of clothes pins - new plastic ones w/ padded tips (but are still spring-based & all that) & old-fashioned wooden ones. Start / the plastic, then once they get to be a bit par for the course, move on to the wooden ones, whose springs & bite tend to be MUCH more evil, then you can move onto clamps. If either's bite is too strong, loosen the spring a little.

The tweezers would work better for me.

The stars are cute.

Nipple clamps 'cause it's simple.

The beaded ones

It depends on how much you like pain. The tweezer you can control how tight they get where the other pair is basicaly a pair of butterfly clamps.
04/26/2011
Well, the twezers are prettier, so that is more aesthetically pleasing; and they are also less painful than the butterfly clamps, which would be my personal pick.

I like tweezer styles, but for us - they are just decoration.
I prefer the clover style out of the two of these, because they have a stronger bite. I tend to use tweezer styles as lingerie.

Clothespins all the way

I'm assuming you're a begginer, so I picked the tweezer clamps. But if you like serious pain, go for the clover/butterfly clamps. I actually just reviewed those exact tweezer clamps, by the way.

Looks like the Fesh beaded would be less pain to deal with. If it hurts and we have to take it off because its too much the toy would never get used.

My nipples are NOT tiny, or "innies" but I can NEVER get any of these toys to stay on!!!

I like just the plain nipple clamps.

Yikes!

I've never used clamps, but I'm very interested. After breastfeeding three babies, I need really hard nipple play, but boy... does it do the job! I'll be trying on of these out soon.

I've tried clamps before, (alligator style) but they were too much for me. A friend pointed out that the tweezer style may be better.

Planning on getting clover clamps soon

Tweezer.
03/11/2012
It depends on what you like, if you just want a little pain go for the tweezers; if you like more go for the clamps
03/13/2012
Start with the tweezers if you are not sure, because if you are sensitive the butterflies will kill your nipples!!!
03/22/2012
If you are a beginner start with tweezer clamps!

Stars! ^_^

I think the first ones look better.
