Which is the best flogger Eden carries and why?

To clarify, I am disappointed by the number of beginner floggers here at Eden. I understand that there is definitely a market for the curious, but I need something that is going to deliver a little more sting and mark a but better than I suspect a lot of the floggers I see will do.

I just purchased the Sex and Mischief Red Rope Flogger recently. As you can see from my review (if you care to read it), I found it highly disappointing. It just didn't stand up to the kind of play I had in mind. It WAS very pretty, and I love pretty. I also like the whistling sound a flogger makes as it sweeps toward me--or toward hubby.

I have to balance my desire for a lot of bang for my buck (pardon the expression) with my husband's inexperience with BDSM and my tendency to bruise easily. I'm tempted to just give up on the idea of a pretty flogger and go straight to paddles, perhaps a fur lined one to start, then something a little rougher.

Thoughts? Feedback based on your own experience?

The best flogger I've gotten from here is the NobEssence one. It's also the most I've ever spent on a flogger. I got it while it was 40% off and it was STILL expensive. However, it's my all time favorite flogger and thus well worth every penny spent. It's very thuddy and has a serious amount of impact. LOVE.

Kira--Wow. Oh wow. That thing is gorgeous. Seriously want. However, I just don't have that kind of cash to spend on much of anything. I put it on my wish list anyway. Maybe someday someone will get it for me, or there will be an awesome sale on it like you had and I'll have a lot of points saved up.

I am planning on getting that one on buy-out as soon as I graduate from my mentor's class. (fingers crossed.) Even with that, I am still stockpiling points until the cost to me is $40 or so.

They do Thursday and Friday specials every week that are usually 35%-40% off. Keep an eye on them because I've seen it go on 40% off sale a few times. It's completely worth saving your points up for.

The Divine Playchest is cool. I have one. It doesn't come anywhere near holding everything I have, but I use it for travel because it does hold a good amount of stuff. The only issue is that the lock freaking blows.

I have the fluffy flogger with both suede and fake fur falls and it's really fun. It's not all softness and delight, it can pack a punch if wielded hard. It has a great mix of sensations though from the materials, I like that.

I will say that there is a limit to me on floggers/paddles etc, and this link is one of those products I just won't buy. The idea of drawing blood is fun if done very responsibly, but I don't want to seriously hurt anyone. Plus, I'm on aspirin therapy, so my husband could really cause a major problem with that one.

My favorites are the nobessence floggers, but the best would have to be the barbed wire flogger because it has the most falls and is incredibly versatile. It feels weighty and like a flogger you would have made from a local flogger maker. Most of the floggers here are pretty good, it depends on what you want it for.

Why not get the Hearts Leather whip? It has ends cut on a double bias so you'll get that bite and sting but it can also be used sensually if you really want.

The nobessence flogger is my suggestion as well. Yes, it is expensive, but eventually you are going to have to break down and buy a high quality flogger or you'll just keep being disappointed. There isn't a cheap but good option when it comes to whips. Outside of EF, you might try some leather workers, maybe on etsy.

Question: Can you stack benefits? For example, buy something when it is on a 40% off sale and then do a buy out on it? I know that almost sounds like cheating, but if I could legitimately do that I would knock 70% off the price.

So much stuff I want for my collection. I have to stop and think very seriously about what I like most/want first.

No, the highest sale price stands.

Not a flogger, but check out the Jackboot paddle. It's means serious business. I just named it my favorite BDSM item of the year on my blog.
