Do you have this same "problem"?

Often I get sidetracked in the hardware store or the pet store or pet sections in stores.

All the D rings and supplies, and all the collars, leashes, and feathery cat toys are very distracting.

Do you have the same problem?

@Cleansing, I am sorry. I feel the same way at times.

@Kkay Mine is also very indulgent. He thinks I'm "Cute" When I get sidetracked by these things.

It's the ONLY reason I go to places like home depot LOL...I have no interest in home improvement but new ways to tie people up? Definitely.

When we're in Menards or somewhere like that, my husband will go down the aisle where they have the chains, and grab a huge one and rattle it at me while raising and eye brow.

Yep. I'm into petplay, and I'm kitty so I'm definitely distracted by the cat toys. The collars, not so much.

Oh my yes. I also have a definite touch of the DIY bug so figuring out how different pieces could go together makes makes shopping so much more interesting.

Absolutely! People give you funny looks occasionally when they see you testing the strength of a chain or feeling the texture of a rope, but... Well, it's what makes us happy. Besides, sometimes it's cheaper to buy materials at stores that don't specialize in the sexual uses.

Thanks for responding everyone. Now I don't feel so weird.

I shop for ticklers in the cat toys section. it's nice to test your tickler a little before you buy it.
