Just wondering if people have bought toys that have any of these exotic items, and what the toys are, as well as the level of pain (if it is an impact toy)

Elk is thuddy as hell! It's possibly my favourite flogger material ever.

I have a bunny fur (actual hide) that I use during impact play (wrap your hand in it and it makes rough body play much thuddier). My floggers are cow and deer hide, and I plan on buying an elk hide flogger soon, and a kangaroo whip as well.
