I was wondering what opinions are around here for the best book for an absolute (but enthusiastic!) beginner couple at rope bondage to read. Safety information is obviously a must, but I'm also looking for the easiest to follow instructions for the possibly-somewhat-klut zy tier. Thanks!

There are lots of free resources that I have become aware of online.
Twisted Monk has a lot of information about beginning ties and safety tips.
There is also a book called Complete Shibari that is not found on Eden that I am particularly hearing very great reviews about.
The Duchy has a lot of information about the knots you need to learn to tie rather than the application; so if you are unsure on how to do complicated knots this is a good resource and has some resources for beginning rigging.
I know, this is not quite what you were looking for, but free is always nice.
