I am gearing up to buy my very first harness and I am torn about which harness I want to purchase.
The SpareParts Joque looks super comfortable and will definitely hold all the dildos I currently own and am interested in purchasing for the future. But the fetishist craves leather and wishes the balls of realistic dildos could be on the outside.
The Jaguar leather looks supreme and it appears to be one of the better harnesses for pear shaped girls, who might be interested in letting the straps scoop up over the hips. But I hear the snaps can be a hassle and I worry about pinching the balls on realistic dildos if I sit it behind the leather.
The Commando I would buy in a heart beat if it weren't for the latigo leather and the shedding. It's minimalist and it looks like it can accommodate just about anything. But alas, it's not the luxurious leather that the jaguar is made of.
What's a girl to do? Which one would you prefer and how do these pros and cons weight out in your mind?

I'd go with the Jaguar, but I got two concerns with it: 1) the ability to remove the leather pad is good to have, but I don't know if that harness is capable of this; 2) My fiancee actually prefers two straps instead of one going from the ring to her butt over her vagina, since it is more comfortable and leaves the area more open.

Anyway, even without these two options, the Jaguar seems the best.

I have big hips, and no harness has EVER fit me as comfortably, happily and sexily as the Joque. Ever. And in my experience, no matter how sexy a harness looks, if it's not comfy it just won't be as fun.

I, personally, would go with the Joque, but it really depends on your body type as well. Leather straps always cut uncomfortably into my fleshier parts, and they never make my body look nice. Like Kitty Stryker said, the Joque clings to my curves, but not in a bad way. It's like an extension of my skin. I absolutely, absolutely love it. It's not leather, no, but it's easier to care for, much more flexible, and to me, much easier to use.

The Joque Is My choice. Being a Mistress who Rather enjoys Sticking it to her BOI, it is important that My comfort comes first.

I've heard nothing but positive things about SpareParts.

I have both the SpareParts and the Aslan Jock..Love them both They both ride low enabling the base of the dil (VixSkin dils) to hit my clit as I thrust.
The Aslan looks and feels so hot, is comfortable and stable. Never have a problem with the snaps. I think I have had it for over two years. Seems that the Jaguar is a favorite of bigger girls. (Check the Aslan website)
The SpareParts is great, is washable (a plus) but doesn't have the hot look of leather.

Commando.

Its more to your preference, but I agree the leather just gets too uncomfortable from past experience. The Joque I'd definitely recommend, its easy to care for and its like wearing a 2nd skin....

Jaguar.

Jaguar- high quality and super adjustable, unless I'm mistaken Aslan will give you a custom fit for no extra charge if you contact them. If it fits correctly, it won't pinch. I'm picky when it comes to leather too, and Aslan uses buttery soft leather.
When the Joque is involved it always comes down to the good old form and function question. The Joque functions well, no doubt, but the form is a dealbreaker for me. The look of it is a turn off.
When you're spending close to or over $100 for a sex toy, you have the right to expect both form and function. That is what the Jaguar delivers.

I like all of these, they seem to all be great harnesses. But the only one I have used is the Commando (vegan variety) and it does work great.

I have the SpareParts Theo and I love how easy the material is to clean. The other's I'm not so sure of.

I love the smell and feel of leather, it makes me instantly wet. Plus I feel so hot and sexy when I strap it on, it helps give me the confidence to use it. The Joque made me feel silly when I put it on and I prefer a little more coverage and support than the commando offers. I think they are all excellent though, so I would go with your gut reaction to each.

the jaguar looks cool

I've heard excellent things about Joque and intend to get one of my own soon.

Whoops - posted this in the wrong window. Moved to the right place.

I have the Vegan Commando and Aslan's vegan leather is very nice - smooth, soft and no shedding. Just something to consider if you like the rest of the Commando.

I'm saving up for a Joque now.

Aslan has publically sed several times that they will never let someone's size stand in the way, as it would be discriminatory. The owner has made an invitation to anyone too big or small to contact the factory and they will see that a harness that fits is made at the same price as the regular product. How's that for commitment?

Did you end up settling on something, Camper?

I like the Jaguar because it looks the best in my opinion, but I would have to read the reviews on all three to make a better, educated guess.

Well, I thought I was saving up for a Joque. Then the bf saw the Jaguar and fell in love with it, so I'm waiting impatiently for the Cherry Jaguar to finish clearing customs so I can show it off for him!

Definitely planning to get the SpareParts Deuce for him and either the Joque or Theo for me though!

The nice thing about the Commando is that it's open so you can get at the wearer while it's on. The SpareParts and Jaguar are also nice harnesses, just not as easy to work around.
Although most of the time a harness is being worn the wearer is probably not going to be too concerned with genital access.

I like the last one because of the ring, it will be easy to use other dildos with it.

Definitely get the Joque. The wrap around thigh straps provide much better maneuverability than the Jaguar or the Commando.

For us the most important thing about a harness is that it has a pouch for a small vibrator to stimulate her clitoris while she does me. With a vibrator here and a vibrating silicone dildo in me my wife always cums at least once. The Spare Parts is great.

My GF & I have both the jorque and the Jaguar harnesses. She says both feel great, but is preferring the Jaguar. She says it feels lighter, the think it is heavier but holds a little tighter. I like the leather a little more, it's sexier and gives me greater access to her lady bits.
Both are great and I think you'll be happy with either.

We don't have any of these - but we have a great leather harness and love it, so the Jaguar gets my vote. You may also want to consider an accessory for the Jaguar called a 'cuff' that holds a dildo inside of the female while she pegs her guy - nice touch. It will actually work with any two-strap harness.
